HEC Recruitment 2020: The Heavy Engineering Corporation Limited or HEC Ltd. is a Government of India enterprise which has issued a notification wherein it is inviting all the interested and eligible candidates to apply for the 169 Graduate and Technician (Diploma) Trainee vacancies in various engineering trades/ disciplines including Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, and Information Technology.
The application process has already started, and candidates can only apply offline.
Out of 169, 116 posts are for Graduates and 53 are for Technicians (Diploma) and the selected candidates will be placed in Rachi, Jharkhand. The selected candidates will also get a monthly stipend.

HEC Recruitment 2020 Vacancy Details
According to the HEC Recruitment notification, there are a total of 169 trainee vacancies and are distributed across various trades/ disciplines which can be seen below.
Eligibility Criteria For HEC Recruitment 2020
Education:
Candidates should have attained a minimum of 55% marks in their respective Branch/ Discipline in Graduate and/or Technician (Diploma), however, for people belonging to SC/ ST and PWD category will have lower criteria of 50% marks.
Candidates who have passed the Graduate/ Technician (Diploma) examination on or after 2017 are eligible to apply according to the HEC Recruitment Notification 2020.
A thing to note is, the candidate who are Engineering Graduate or Diploma and have trained or job experience of 1 year or more after attaining their Degree are also not eligible for applying to this Recruitment process.
Age:
As on 29/02/2020 the age of the applicant should not be below 18 years and should not exceed 20 years. However, SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL (Non Creamy Layer)/ PWD will be eligible for relaxation as per the directives from the Government of India.
Application Fee For HEC Recruitment 2020
The application fee for HEC Recruitment for Trainees is kept as Rs. 500, however, candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ and PWD category will be exempt from paying the application fees.
There are two ways the payment can be made:
- Swipe machine available at HEC Headquarter through Application Fee Challan Form.
- Bank Demand Draft in favour of HEAVY ENGINEERING CORPORATION LIMITED payable at RANCHI of any Nationalized Bank.
A medical exam will also be conducted of the selected candidates for which Rs. 1000 will have to be deposited as Medical Examination Fee in favour of HEAVY ENGINEERING CORPORATION LIMITED payable at RANCHI either via Demand Draft or by swipe machine at the HEC Headquarters in Ranchi.

Pay Scale For HEC Recruitment 2020
The selected candidates will be paid monthly stipend. The Graduate Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 9,000 whereas the Technician (Diploma) trainees will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 8,000.
No other allowance/ incentives will be provided to the Trainees.
Documents Required With Application Form For HEC Recruitment 2020
The following list of documents are mandatory to be sent with the application form:
- Matriculation/10th pass certificate.
- Mark sheet and passing / provisional certificate of Matriculation or equivalent. (as a Date of birth certificate)
- Final Year Mark sheet of Graduate/Technician (Diploma) certificate
- Caste certificate [SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)] issued by a competent authority. (If applicable)
- PWD (Person With Disability) certificate (if applicable) issued by civil surgeon/ competent authority.
- EWS certificate issued by a competent authority. (If applicable)
- Certificate of being a ward of HEC: employee/ Ex. employee/ Contract Worker, Hatia displaced/ Dependent of Diseased employee/ Contract worker (If applicable).
- Aadhaar card (UID).
- Receipt of payment for the application fee (HTI copy of challan or Demand Draft).
- Self undertaking (Enclosed in the application form)
A candidate will also be needed to carry 5 recent passport size photographs at the time of counselling and documents verification.

How to Apply To HEC Recruitment 2020
Candidates who are allying for Graduate and Technician (Diploma) post in HEC Ltd must fill the application form in the prescribed format as specified in the notification.
