Haryana Assembly Elections will cause Liquor store owners in Noida- Greater Noida to lose money!

Liquor stores in Noida and Greater Noida that are close to the Haryana border will be shut from 19th of October to 21st of October owing to the assembly elections in Haryana.

A statement made by the District Magistrate (DM) of Gautam Buddh Nagar Brajesh Narain, liquor stores falling in a radius of 8 kilometres from the Harayan border will be shut from 6:00 pm on the 19th of October.

The order states ‘Assembly elections in Haryana are due on October 21 and hence liquor shops in Gautam Buddh Nagar will be shut down 48 hours prior to it, that is October 19. The liquor outlets within 8 km radius of Haryana border will also remain shut on the day of vote counting, which is October 24’.

The copies of the order has already been circulated to the UP government, district police, Excise Department, among many others.
