Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Google and Alphabet, Sundar Pichai shared 2 pictures which perfectly depicts the difference between Instagram and reality. The concept of IG vs Reality is not new as Sundar Pichai has earlier also shown the gap between the two domains earlier at many instances of how things look like on social media vs how things really are in real life.

48 year old CEO, on Tuesday, joined the trend by posting 2 drastically pictures of himself on the same day. The pictures appear to have taken while the Indian-American CEO was shooting for a video.

In the 2 image post, the first image is a medium shot of Sundar Pichai smiling for the camera in a formal blue shirt, however, in the second image, the image is full length and has been zoomed out which shows him wearing a pair of jeans and sneakers below the shirt and checking his phone between takes with his eyewear in his hand.

In the caption of the post, the 48 year old CEO explained he was checking scored of FC Barcelona between takes when the candid picture was taken.

Sundar Pichai writes, “IG vs. reality…comfy shoes + checking on FC Barcelona scores between takes:)”

Since the pictures were posted on the photo and video sharing platform owned by Facebook, the post has gathered almost 3 lakh likes.

FC Barcelona also commented on the image saying, “Proud to have you on our team,”.

On Monday, Sundar Pichai who is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur announced that Google will invest $ 10 billion or roughly 75,150 crore fund which will be used to accelerate the digital economy of India.

In a tweet Sundar Pichai wrote, “Today at #GoogleForIndia we announced a new $10B digitization fund to help accelerate India’s digital economy. We’re proud to support PM @narendramodi’s vision for Digital India – many thanks to Minister @rsprasad & Minister @DrRPNishank for joining us.”

On Monday, Mr Pichai – an alumnus of IIT-Kharagpur – had announced a Rs 75,000-crore fund to help accelerate India’s digital economy. “Today at #GoogleForIndia we announced a new $10B digitization fund to help accelerate India’s digital economy.
