Students From Classes 6 To 7 In Uttar Pradesh May Start Going To School From Next 10 Days

On Tuesday, the Uttar Pradesh government said that it is considering the proposal to resume classes for the student of classes from 6th to 12th in the next 10 days. The Office of the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, however, said that the classes should be resumed only once a complete evaluation of the situation is done.

From the official Twitter handle of the Chief Minister Office of UP it was posted, “According to the guidelines of the Government of India, the schools should be considered for starting classes from class 06 to class 12 in the next 10 days. These classes should be started only after a thorough assessment of the situation,” in Hindi.

The Gujarat government had already resumed schools for students from classes 9th and 11th from the 1st of February.

Additionally, the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia, also said that the Delhi Government led by AAP will reopen schools for classes 9th and 11th from the 5th of February.

He also said, “Colleges, diploma institutions in Delhi will also reopen from 5 February.”

The students will only attend the classes in schools with the consent of the parents, also, the physical attendance will not be mandatory and all schools and colleges will have to strictly follow the COVID-19 guidelines.

Sisodia had said, “Schools for classes 9 and 11 students, as well as colleges and degree diploma institutions will reopen in Delhi from February 5, following COVID protocols.

“The students will attend classes in a staggered manner and with the permission of parents,” Delhi’s Deputy CM said.
