RBI Assistant Recruitment 2020 Notification Released, Over 900 Vacancies And Other Details

RBI Assistant Recruitment Notification was released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on their official website. The apex banks, through assistant recruitment 2020 is inviting eligible and interested candidates for the post of Assistant. In total RBI wants to fill 926 vacancies in 19 cities and the last date to apply for the same is 16^th January 2020. The selection process for RBI Assistant Recruitment will be done in three phases:

• Preliminary Examination (Multiple Choice)
• Main Examination (Multiple Choice)
• Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

Application start date: 23^rd December 2019

Application end date: 16^th January 2020

Schedule for Online Preliminary Test: 14^th and 15^th February 2020, however, RBI may change the dates without prior intimation.

Schedule for Main Test: March 2020, the final date will be released at a later stage.

Educational Qualification Required For RBI Assistant Recruitment 2020

The candidates who wish to apply for the post of Assistant should have a Bachelor’s degree irrespective of the discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.

A candidate belonging to Ex-servicemen category (except dependents of ex-servicemen) should either have a graduation degree from a recognized University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and should at least have 15 years of defence service.

Additionally, candidates applying for post in a particular recruiting office should be proficient in the language (i.e. know to read, write, speak and understand the language) of the state/ any of the states falling under the recruiting office. Age Limit For RBI Assistant Exam 2020

Interested candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/12/1991 and not later than 01/12/1999 (both days including), and the age bracket is kept between 20 years and 28 years. However there are relaxation given:

Application Fees For RBI Assistant Recruitment 2020

General/Other Backward Classes (OBC)/Economically Weaker Section (EWS) will have to pay Rs. 450 as both examination fees and initiation charges, however, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/Schedule Tribe (ST)/Persons with Disabilities (PwD)/Ex-Servicemen (EXS) will only have to pay Rs. 50 as the initiation charges. Also, staff candidates will be exempted from payment of both examination fee and intimation charges.

Additionally, any bank charges for online payments will be sustained by the candidates only.

• To register a new application, simply click on the option “Click here for New Registration”, and if you have already applied, simply log-in by filling your credentials on the right side option.
• Fill in the details and upload the required documents.
• Validate your details and Save your application by clicking the ‘Validate your details’ and ‘Save & Next’ button
• Upload photo and signature as per the specification
• Click on ‘Payment’ Tab and proceed for payment
• Click on the ‘Submit’ button

Salary details For RBI Assistant Exam

The candidates that will be hires will draw a starting basic pay of Rs. 14,650/- per month (i.e. Rs. 13,150/- plus two advance increments admissible to Graduates) in the scale of Rs. 13150 – 750(3) – 15400 – 900(4) – 19000 – 1200(6) – 26200 – 1300(2) – 28800 –1480(3) – 33240 – 1750(1) – 34990 (20 years).

In addition, the employees will also get allowances like Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Transport Allowance, and etc., as admissible from time to time.

Please note: House Rent Allowance will not be paid to the employee, if Bank’s accommodation is being provided to them, additionally, license fee will be recovered from the employee @ 0.3% of pay at the starting stage of the pay scale of Class III.

At present, initial monthly Gross emoluments for Assistants approximately ₹ 36091/-.
