“J&K and Ladakh Were, Are And Will Always Be An Inalienable Part Of India”: India Slams Pakistan At UNSC

Highlighting the fact that Pakistan has exploited UN platforms in the pretext of spreading malicious propaganda, India at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) lashed out against Islamabad for enshrouding the Kashmir issue and called upon the neighbouring country to promptly vacate all illegally occupied regions of J&K.

Counsellor at India’s Permanent Mission to the UN, Dr Kajal Bhat, categorically spoke about India’s position regarding J&K and Ladakh. She said that the aforementioned regions would always be an inseparable part of India. Adding on to this, she called upon Pakistan to instantly vacate all areas in J&K that were occupied unlawfully.

Underlining that the Pakistan representatives misused the UN platform to proliferate spiteful propaganda attempting to divert public attention dismal state of their country where terrorists can avail a free pass.

She also emphasised the fact that member states are conscious of how Pakistan has undeniable history and policy of abetting, training and financing terrorists. It also holds a contemptible record of hosting the maximum number of arsonists banned by the UNSC.

Furthermore, she also communicated that India, as a nation is ready to discuss pending issues, if any, but on bilateral and peaceful grounds in alignment with the Shimla Agreement and the Lahore Declaration. Significant dialogue between the countries can be conducted only in a terror-free atmosphere and in the absence of hostility and violence.
