The Joint Entrance Exam for the National Council for Hotel Management (NCHM JEE) will take place on the 25th of April 2020 via CBT (Computer Based Test), the exam will be conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency). Through NCHM JEE 2020, the NTA will select the eligible candidates to fill in seats for the course of B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (B.Sc. HHA) 2020.

The candidates who wants to pursue career in the above mentioned course will have to qualify an entrance exam and the application process has already begun via the Official Website.

The last date of to apply for the NCHM JEE 2020 exam is on 20th March 2020.

The exam will take place on the 25th of April 2020 in a single shift between 9:30 am and 12:30 pm. There will be a total of 200 question in the exam and will be divided into 5 parts:

The question will be in an MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) format and for every correct answer in the NCHM JEE 2020 exam the candidate will get 4 marks, for ever wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted, and for the questions left unanswered, there will be no marking done.

NCHM JEE 2020 FEES:

The Fee for the National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Exam 2020 is divided into 4 categories. For General Category and Non Creamy Layer of OBC (Other Backward Classes) is Rs. 900 for both Boys and Girls.

For EWS (Economically Weaker Section) the fees is kept as Rs. 700 for both Boys and Girls. For the SC/ST/PwD (Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Persons with Disabilities respectively) the fee is Rs. 450 for both Boys and Girls.

For Transgender the fee is Rs. 700.

The above mentioned reservations will be applicable to the institutes run by the Central Government.

How to Apply for the NCHM JEE 2020:

  • On the bottom centre you will find a box saying: Fill Application Form
  • After clicking on it, you will find two options: either to register as a new candidate or log-in as an existing candidate.
  • If you are a new candidate, simply click on “New Registration”.
  • Download the “Information Bulletin” after reading through the instructions and guidelines.
  • Once you download the “Information Bulletin” for the NCHM JEE 2020, you can click proceed and fill in the application form and upload required documents.
  • After uploading documents you will have to pay the Fee depending upon the category you belong to, also mention above.
  • You can pay the Fee until 21st March 2020.

The admit cards for this exam will available for printing on the 7th of April 2020, and after the exam is conducted on the 25th of April 2020 (Saturday) between 9:30 am and 12:30 pm, the results will be announced on the NTA’s website by the 15th of May 2020.

Through NCHM(CT) there are 21 Central Government sponsored Institutes of Hotel Management, 25 State Government sponsored IHMs, 1 PSU owned Institute, 25 private Institutes, and 14 Food Craft Institutes that operates in different parts of the country which offer 11 professional programs which award Certificate, Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma, Bachelor, and Master Degree.
