What Caused Delay In ITR?
Generally, the ITR is received in a timeframe of 20 to 45 days from the day of completion of processing of the Income Tax Refunds by the Centralized Processing Centre.
Having said that, the refund could get delayed in case if the authority witnesses a mismatch between the tax return filed and the details which are available with the tax department. It could also be delayed in case where the details of the bank account mentioned are incorrect.
