The sultry model-turned-actress, Sherlyn Chopra who had invoked quite a stir in the entertainment industry by posing nude for Playboy magazine in 2012, turns 38 today. Sherlyn had bagged the Miss Andhra title in 1999 and had also participated in the Color’s Reality show Big Boss in 2009. She also hosted the sixth season of MTV Splitsvilla.
Sherlyn often treats her fans with sneak peeks from her intense yoga sessions. She describes her childhood version as someone who was extremely underconfident and scared to express herself or voice her opinions. From lack of confidence to becoming a prominent face of the entertainment industry, Sherlyn achieved the seemingly impossible.
Sherlyn was born to a Christian father, who was a doctor and a Muslim mother in Hyderabad. During her early acting career, Sherlyn featured in films like “Time Pass”, “Red Swastik” and “Game”. She made her debut in a Telugu film titled “A Film By Aravind”. She was the protagonist in the Rupesh Paul directed erotic drama film, Kamasutra 3D and also featured in the trailer which was released at the 66th Cannes International Film Festival. She discontinued working on the project after June 2016.

Her photoshoot for playboy magazine turned out to be a stepping stone for her giving her recognition on a global level. To this date, Sherlyn is admired for her exemplary courage for her nude photoshoot in the international magazine.
She spoke of the trolls and abuse she has faced owing to the bold projects she undertakes. However, these negations won’t stop her from performing bold content and she has absolutely no qualms regarding it.
