Mahindra’s introduction of the XUV 3XO has caused a stir in the small SUV market. The XUV300 is replaced by this brand-new model, which offers a major feature and design boost. With a starting price of Rs 7.49 lakh (ex-showroom), the XUV 3XO is more affordable than its predecessor and has a more contemporary design language. It meets a wide range of demands and tastes thanks to its many amenities, which include a panoramic sunroof, a top-notch music system, and even cutting-edge driver-aid choices (on higher models). Notably, the XUV 3XO is a very flexible alternative for consumers looking for a small SUV because it is available in an astounding 18 versions, including a new petrol automatic option.

Front side

The XUV 3XO MX3 Pro version is equipped with LED projector headlights, LED DRLs, and LED turn indicators. The grille and bumper design are the same as previous versions, the only visual difference being the lack of LED fog lights compared to its higher-spec trims.

Side

Roof rails are absent from this XUV 3XO because it is a mid-spec model. Other elements, such as the body-coloured door handles, blacked-out C-pillars, and ORVMs (outside rear-view mirrors), are identical to those of the other models.

Wheels for Mahindra XUV 3XO MX3 Pro

All MX variants do not offer alloy wheels; however, the MX3 Pro variation does offer more fashionable wheel covers for its 16-inch wheels. This is the primary design cue that indicates this is a base model in the XUV 3XO range.

Interior

The mid-range XUV 3XO MX3 Pro version is characterized by an elegant two-tone dashboard and a large touchscreen, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It has some nice amenities like wireless charging, cruise control, and a sunroof, but the temperature control system is the same as the one on the previous model. Safety is properly taken care of with airbags, stability control, disc brakes, and parking sensors.

Rear

The Mahindra XUV 3XO MX3 Pro model has linked LED tail lights, although it lacks a rear wiper, washer, and defogger. The lack of an extended roof spoiler is another feature that gives the impression that it is a lower-spec model. The SUV’s bumper design is similar to that of other higher-spec models.

Powertrain Options

The XUV 3XO in the MX3 Pro variant is available with turbo-petrol and diesel engine options. However, it lacks the choice of a T-GDi (direct injection) turbo-petrol engine. The specifications of the variant-specific options have been detailed below:

Engine1.2-litre turbo-petrol1.5-litre diesel
Power112 ps117 ps
Torque200 Nm300 Nm
Transmission6-speed MT / 6-speed AT6-speed MT

Price and reveals

The MX3 Pro model’s price range starts from Rs 9.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 11.49 lakh. Its rivals include the Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, and Tata Nexon, three well-known small SUVs.

UV 3XO Acquires Premium Functions

The inside of the XUV 3XO is sleek and contemporary, like that of the XUV400 EV. High-end amenities include a big touchscreen for entertainment and driver information, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone temperature control, and, in higher variations, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). With this first-ever ADAS technology, the XUV 3XO outperforms competitors like the Venue and Sonet.

Six airbags, ISOFIX mounts, rear disc brakes, and an Electronic Stability Program (ESP), reportedly the same as the XUV700, are among the standard safety features. Seven different exterior colours are available, and certain versions additionally include the option of dual-tone paint. They are Citrine Yellow, Nebula Blue, Deep Forest, Everest White, Stealth Black, and Dune Dust.

The Mahindra XUV 3XO MX3 Pro provides an excellent balance of price, design, and functionality for compact SUV buyers. It’s a strong option for anyone looking for a practical and adaptable car because it comes with options for both gasoline and diesel engines in addition to a host of stand-out features like a sunroof, touchscreen, and safety systems.
