Indian television actress, Hina Khan is popular for playing the role of Akshara Singhania in one of Star Plus’s longest-running soap operas, “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai”. She quit the show in 2016 November aiming to pursue other projects. Hina had also auditioned for the reality show, Indian Idol in the year 2008, where she managed to make it to the top 30.
Hina was a contestant in the Color’s based reality TV show, “Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi” season 8. On the show, she revealed that she suffers from asthma. Nevertheless, Khan finished as the 1st runner up in the same. Hina was also a part of Big Boss 11 in September 2017, as a celebrity contestant and survived in the house for about fifteen weeks. She was among the top 4 finalists and in January 2018, emerged as the 1st runner up.
Hina has always dominated social media and kept fans abreast of what is going on in her life through her posts. In one such post shared by the actress, she is seen carrying a beautiful purple dress and posing on her balcony. The post is captioned “Just Breathe” with the hashtag “PurpleLove”.
In October 2018, Hina bagged the antagonist role of Komolika in the TV serial “Kasautii Zindagi Kay” and was replaced by Aamna Sharif in April 2019. She appeared in a short film titled “Soulmate” opposite Vivan Bhatena. She cameoed in the fifth season of Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin. Finally, Hina made her debut Bollywood movie “Hacked” directed by Vikram Bhatt alongside Sid Makkar.
It is hard to take one’s eye off Hina’s captivating style and she has become the irrefutable queen of social media with her mesmerising pictures and videos. Hina boasts over 16 million followers on Instagram and 6 million followers on Facebook.

Hina was back on Big Boss in the 14th season in October 2020. She entered the house as a “toofani senior” along with Gauhar Khan and Siddharth Shukla for the initial three weeks. She has also starred in music videos like “Patthar Wargi” with Tanmay Singh and “Baarish Ban Jana” which was sung by Stebin Ben and Payal Dev.
