Shahid Kapoor made a spot for himself on the trend’s list after reports of him walking out of an award show in Mumbai broke out on the internet. According to Pinkvilla’s exclusive report, the Kabir Singh actor was expected to win the “Best Actor” award and was also scheduled to give a performance at an awards show recently. The report said “It was an understanding that Shahid will perform because he was bagging the award. He had rehearsed for the performance too”. According to the website, purportedly, things went sour when the award was presented to Ranveer Singh. According to reports, Shahid then left the venue and even cancelled his performance.
According to a source quoted by the website “The award was then presented to Ranveer Singh and Shahid then supposedly walked out of the show. He was to perform but he decided not to record his performance as well”.
The souce added, Shahid was upset with the organisers of the award show owing to their “unprofessional” behaviour, the actor “apparently lost his cool on the organisers because it was an unprofessional move on their part to sneakily change the whole scenario. He was reportedly very upset with how the whole thing was addressed”.

shooting.
On Sunday evening, Mumbai hosted Star Screen Awards where Shahid and Ranveer came together for a photoshoot and later than night Ranveer bagged not only award for the Best Actor for Gull Boy, but also won the award for Entertainer Of The Year.
Ranveer Singh shared his picture with the awards on either side captioning the image on Instagram “Gosh! Double Whammy! ‘Best Actor in a Leading Role’ for #GullyBoy & ‘Entertainer of the Year’ at the #StarScreenAwards”.
Soon after Shahid’s purported exit from the award show, the organisers went on to look for another star who can fill in Shahid’s spot for the final edit of the award show, which is scheduled to be telecasted on TV sometime later. According to a leading news agency, Varun Dhawan has rose to the occasion as he “agreed” and shot the sequence earlier this week. The reports said “Varun was a thorough professional and saved the day by committing to this event. Despite shooting for Coolie No. 1 early morning and having a long schedule he agreed to come in late and shoot his song. Varun danced to a song from Street Dancer 3D”.
Earlier this year, Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh turned out to be a super-hit on the box office in spite of getting criticised for promoting misogyny and violence.
Shahid’s walking out of the award show raises 2 question, why was Shahid not a sport when he did not win the award and fulfilled his part by performing in the award show?
