The Congress Party appealed and the Rajasthan Assembly Speaker C P Joshi issued disqualification notices to 19 Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) including Sachin Pilot for failing to attend the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) Meeting which held on Monday as well as Tuesday, said a senior party leader.
On Tuesday, the Congress party cracked down on Sachin Pilot and stripped him from the post of Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan and also the President of Congress Rajasthan. The Congress party also sacked 2 of its loyal members from the state Cabinet.

General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) Avinash Pande said, “The notices of disqualification will be issued to all such MLAs, including Sachin Pilot, who were absent from the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) meeting through the Speaker of the legislative assembly,” on Wednesday.
Pande said that the Congress party has filed a petition to the Speaker for the dismissal of all those MLAs and added that is the replies by the MLAs are not justified for their cause of absence, it will be up to the Speaker to decide the final action.
In total, 19 party MLAs which include now former-Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot were absent from the CLP meetings which held on both Monday and Tuesday.
