Since the end of 2019, Realme, China based Smartphone Manufacturer, has launched number of smartphones. In 2020, Realme is keeping up with the pace and just launched its first smartphone for the year. On Thursday, the company launched 5i in India after launching it in Vietnam a week earlier.
The Realme 5i is the dialed-down version of the Realme 5 which was launched in August 2019, however, when it comes to features, it will not shy away from it. Realme 5i comes with a 5,000 mAh battery which the company say has a 30 days standby and an AI quad camera setup at the back. This smartphone has 6.5 inch LCD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass and a waterdrop notch.
Specifications Of Realme 5i
The latest smartphone Realme 5i is just a notch less compared to Realme 5 in terms of specifications and looks, however, it does not lack in performance. As a matter of fact, thie phone is expected to give some fierce competition to other smartphones like Redmi, Xiaomi, and more in the budget smartphone category in India.
5i comes with a 1600 X 720 pixel, 6.52 inch LCD multi touch display and have the waterdrop notch on the screen. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 AIE octa-core CPU which runs the ColorOS 6.0.1 based on Android pie. The phone will come in two variants, 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage, and 4 GB RAM with 64 GB storage capacity.
Realme 5i comes with an AI quad camera setup with Ultra wide-angle Macro Lens at the back. The primary camera is 12 MP paired with 8 MP wide-angle lens and 2 MP macro camera with 4 cm shooting distance, and a 2 MP portrait camera. Coming to the front, the phone comes with an 8 MP camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Another highlight of this phone is that it comes with a 5,000 mAh massive battery which, as company claim, has a standby period of 30 days and will support 10W charging. The phone will come with 2 nano sim and 1 Micro SD card support slot along with a fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone will be available in two colours – Aqua Blue and Forest Green.
Price And Availability Of Realme 5i
As said above, the phone will come in two variants, and will start at Rs. 8,999 and will be available on to be purchased from the 15th January 2020 on both Realme official website and Flipkart – e-commerce website that was bought by Walmart.
