The Independence Day of 2019 will bring some entertainment, and we are not talking about political feuds, this 15th August, Akshay Kumar is bringing ‘Mission Mangal’ to the big screens. Not only one of the most awaited film of the year, Mission Mangal is yet another addition to the list of patriotic movies of Akshay Kumar. Experts say that the movie will do well at the box office, given a long weekend, it will help generate more footfall at the theatres for the movie.
Sumit Kadel, Film Trade analyst said ‘Mission Mangal is India’s first space technology based movie. Both the trailers of film have fetched a wonderful response so far, people are eager to watch this patriotic movie from Akshay Kumar and the national holiday may help it earn Rs 25 to Rs 30 crore on opening day.’ He continued by saying ‘the movie has created a buzz among audience, while the actual earnings will depend on the content it possesses’.
Written and Directed by Jagan Shakti, Mission Mangal tells the story of ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) scientists who made the Mars Orbiter Mission possible. From the trailer alone, they movie have created a lot of Buzz via Word of Mouth.
The movie will be released in India on 2,800- 3,000 screens, and with the help of long weekend, it is expected to make between Rs. 60- Rs. 70 crores in the weekend.
