The Indian women cricket team won its third consecutive match in the on-going T20 World Cup as it defeated New Zealand by 3 runs and by doing so it became the first team in this tournament to reach the semi-finals which is being held in Australia.
After the match ICC (International Cricket Council) shared a video of Indian batswoman, Jemimah Rodrigues shaking a leg with an off-duty security guard which caught the attention of a Bollywood star.
The Bollywood star, Kartik Aaryan retweeted the post while revealing that Rodrigues is his “favourite cricketer”, and just like any true cricket fan, he asked her to bring the T20 World Cup trophy home. Not just this, he says that the security guard should come to Bollywood.

In the video, Jemimah and the security guard can be seen dancing on the hit song “Haan Main Galat” from Kartik Aaryan’s latest film “Love Aaj Kal”.
Jemimah made her international debut in 2018 and has become an integral part of Indian Women Cricket team.

In February 2018 Jemimah debuted in T20 International against South Africa and now the 19 year old cricketer has 915 runs under her name in just 42 T20I matches with an average of almost 27.
In the ICC T20 World Cup that is being held in Australia right now, India sits at the top of the table as they have won all the 3 matches played so far in Group A. India’s group includes 4 other team – New Zealand, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and defending champions Austalia.
In the first match in this World Cup, India faced Australia and won the match with credit given to Poon Yadav spells. Jemimah scored 26 runs that game.
In the 2nd match, which was played against Bangladesh, Jemimah scored 34 runs, helping India put up the highest tally in this tournament of 142. India won the game by 18 runs.
In the third game of the tournament for India, the team in blue defeated New Zealand by 3 runs after putting up a score of 133 on the scoreboard. The game was played today.
