Actress Priyanka Chopra is not hesitant to express her ideas upfront and has been witnessed speaking her mind publicly on countless occasions. When it comes to disclosing her negative experiences in the film industry, she has never held back. The star recently spoke extensively about how some people were attempting to “jeopardise” her career while she was succeeding. However, that didn’t deter her from making emerging triumphant. She said that she thought “very few people are delighted for someone’s achievement” in India.

Priyanka revealed in a recent interview that there was a point when individuals in the Indian film industry made every ounce of effort to prevent her from working. During her most recent interview on The Ranveer Show, she revealed that “I have had people wanting to jeopardise my career, take away from my job, and make sure I wasn’t cast just because I was doing well in what I was doing.”

But the actor, who has made a name for herself in Hollywood after over 12 years, never let those who sought to harm her career get in the way of her success. She claimed that she ignores anyone who tries to bring her down. Instead, she dwells on the one person who has faith in her.

“But that’s not what stops me”, Priyanka remarked. ” I don’t wait around and nag about things; occasionally, when a chance is lost to me, maybe I will cry one night, but I don’t sit in the s**t”, she added. She firmly advocates the fact that in order to stave off negativity and darkness, one has to “shut off the noise” and focus on that person who has faith in you.

The actor also attempted to justify the lack of achievement celebration among Indians. According to her, “In India, we do not celebrate the success of others as a nation.” She remarked that her theory is that colonisation continued until 1947 and added that we’ve only been our own country and people for a little over a decade.

She asserted that we would be unstoppable in the world if we got united and encouraged other outstanding people in our areas.
