The 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival will take place from May 16 to May 27, 2023, and Esha Gupta is attending this festival as part of the Indian government delegation. She was present on Tuesday at the opening ceremony and at the premiere of the opening film, “Jeanne Du Barry,” which marks the comeback of Hollywood actor Johnny Depp.
Esha Gupta documented her Cannes experience on Instagram, sharing pictures confirming her arrival at the French Riviera and captioning it simply as “Cannes.” In one of the photos, she looked beautiful in a bodycon dress with a thigh-high slit. Alongside Esha, other Indian celebrities, including Sara Ali Khan, Anushka Sharma, and Manushi Chillar, will also make their Cannes debut this year.
Before her Cannes appearance, Anushka Sharma met with the French ambassador to India, Emmanuel Lenin, along with her husband, Virat Kohli, at the French Embassy in New Delhi. Emmanuel tweeted about the meeting, hinting at Anushka’s trip to the world’s fashion capital, where the festival is being held.
