Earthquake Today India: An Earthquake of magnitude of 6.3 on the Richter scale hit Afghanistan and it’s tremors were felt in many parts of North India including Jaipur, Delhi, Gurgaon. The Earthquake was recorded at around 5:00 pm IST and is being said that the centre of the earthquake was 246 kilometre NorthEast of Kabul, Afghanistan.

The tremors of the earthquake were also felt in neighbouring country Pakistan. The earthquake occurred at a depth of almost 200 kilometres from the surface of the earth.

The earthquake and its tremors were strong enough to shake building, forcing people to run out of them.

Tremors of this earthquake were felt in different parts of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Haryana at around 5.15 pm, according to a Chandigarh’s India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.

In Delhi, people panicked in offices, cafes/restaurants, hospitals, and homes as fans and ceiling lights started shaking under the impact of the earthquake. Many people who were inside their homes and officer felt these shocks and then were seen rushing out on the roads.

As of now no report of any loss of life or property due to the earthquake have surfaced.
