On Thursday, BJP targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi after he termed the torture of Dalit men in Rajasthan “horrific and sickening” and asked the Rajasthan Government to begin an investigation and take actions without any delay.
Reminding Rahul Gandhi who is in the power in the state of Rajasthan, BJP’s spokesperson, Amit Malviya criticised the former Congress President claiming that the crime against women and Dalits in Rajasthan has increased since Congress formed its government.

As the video of the two Dalit men being beaten went viral on social media, Rahil Gandi tweeted, “The recent video of two young Dalit men being brutally tortured in Nagaur, Rajasthan is horrific & sickening. I urge the state Government to take immediate action to bring the perpetrators of this shocking crime to justice”.
To which, Amit Malviya from BJP replied, “State government? The Chief Minister is also the Home Minister and his name is Ashok Gehlot. Just in case you didn’t know who is responsible for the brutality against Dalits in the state. Ever since Congress formed govt in Rajasthan, crime against Dalits and women has shot up”.
