TV actor Ashiesh Roy passed away at the age 55 who was suffering from kidney ailment recently took his last breath at 3:45 AM last night in his house. The actor was earlier admitted to a Juhu hospital after he complained of water retention. He was undergoing dialysis. Amit Behl, who is the Senior Joint Secretary of CINTAA (Cine & TV Artists Association) confirmed the news to one of the leading news agency about Ashiesh’s death. He said, “Ashiesh has passed away in his house. Director Arvind Babbal called to inform me about it.”
According to reports, security guard of the Pataliputra building in Jogeshwari where Ashiesh stayed said, “Ashiesh saab died at 3.45 am last night. His servant came running down and said he had a couple of big hiccups and collapsed. Unka health problem toh chal hi raha tha but the servant said he was quite okay yesterday. In fact, he was supposed to undergo a dialysis today, too.”
Funeral is expected to be held around late evening. Ashiesh’s sister is arriving from Kolkata.

Ashiesh had become a household name with his stint on popular televisions shows including but not limited to Aarambh, Movers & Shakers, Sasural Simar Ka, Remix, Yes Boss, Chaldi Da Naam Gaddi, Mere Angne Mein, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, Baa Bahoo Aur Baby, Burey Bhi Hum Bhale Bhi Hum.
Apart from being a part of TV shows, Ashiesh starred in a few movies too. He was known to play comic characters and also was a popular dubbing artist. He had given voice for the Hindi dubbed version of several household Hollywood flicks including RoboCop, Superman Returns, Man of Steel, The Dark Knight, and Guardians of the Galaxy among many others.
