On the night of March 14th, Kapil Sharma shared a video expressing gratitude towards the veteran actor, Anupam Kher for setting the false allegations surrounding the ongoing Kashmir Files and Kapil Sharma Show controversy in a talk show. Hours later, Anupam Kher tweeted in response to Kapil’s video.
Anupam Kher’s response to the comedian’s tweet was cryptic in nature. He mentioned how it would have been in the best interest of all if Kapil had posted the full video highlighting the entire truth. “The entire world is celebrating, you also celebrate tonight”, he added, sending him love and prayers.

Anupam Kher seemed to be quite disappointed with how Kapil Sharma’s tweet presented half-baked truth as the ultimate reality and averted the crux of the entire conversation encompassing the controversy. Along the lines of the actor’s tweet, a Twitter user, Ravi Mishra, shared the full uncut video of the discussion between Anupam Kher and Vivek Agnihotri.

In the video, Vivek can be seen referring to ‘Kashmir’ as the star of the film. Concurrently, Anupam Kher clarifies his refusal to make an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show. He rejected the rumours that his absence on the show has nothing to do with The Kapil Sharma not promoting The Kashmir Files. Anupam, in continuity, said that Kapil surely does not hold any grudges towards anyone in the film. He also praised Kapil and said that his work over the years is commendable.
For the unversed, the controversy piqued when Vivek Agnihotri’s response to a fan questioning him on why he did not promote his film on the TKSS show caught the attention of people. He clarified that they were uninvited because the film lacks a commercial starcast.

Following this, an internet user put forth the same question to Kapil. The comedian responded saying that it was not the truth. He additionally emphasized that he gave an explanation since the question was raised, however, it is futile to clarify things to people who already believe in a one-sided story.
‘Boycott Kapil Sharma’ has been trending on Twitter since the controversy has been triggered. It peaked when the entire cast of the film including Vivek Agnihotri met PM Modi recently. The entire team has been basking in the glory of the film’s success. Kher said that it is essential for people to see the film in order to witness the truth of the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus.
