As India sees the return of COVID-19, every day we wake up dreading whose death or disease the next phone call will announce. Praying every night, pleading to the almighty to spare our near and dear ones, the tension in the air is substantial.
Many of us have been left in a pit owing to the rising cost of medical expenses which came with COVID-19, while we cannot do much to protect our colleagues, AdCounty Media has taken a big step in easing their minds off of the medical expenses. The Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer (CBO) of AdCounty Media, Delphin Varghese said, “We will be providing all our colleagues and each of their dependents with 5 lac (6700 USD Approx) individual Covid insurance cover, to be used for medical expenses, hospitalization, home care, etc”.
The good news did not end there, AdCounty media has also put cheery on top by announcing a 10% hike in the salary of all of the company’s employees for the next two months. This will be over and above the normal appraisal process and subsequent salary increments that will be done in the year, regardless of the business scenario in the recent time.
Back in 2020, when most of the companies were cutting cost by letting go off of their employees stating COVID crisis, AdCounty Media, then, had announced a 10% flat salary hike for all of its employees.
Delphin Varghese added, “We hope that this will provide some amount of emotional ease to our colleagues, and help them overcome these tough times. We have always worked as a family unit, and will continue to support one another in all situations”.
