On Monday Amazon gave yet another upgrade to its Alexa and Fire TV devices. The company said now a person will be able to connect Fire TV with the Echo devices, this will now give the customers the ability to build impressive, and wireless speaker configurations which can include 1.0 and 2.0. The Echo Sub holders will get configuration of 1.1 and 2.1 as well.
If you want this update on your devices, simply open your Alexa app and click on the device icon that will be visible on the bottom right of the app. Then click on the ‘+’ icon which will be visible on the top right side.
Now simply click on ‘Set Up Audio System’ and then you will be taken to another screen where you need to click on ‘Home Theatre’ option. Simply select ‘Fire TV’ device and hit next.
Now coming to the Echo devices, one can set up a maximum of 2 speakers along with an Echo Sub as speakers for the home theatre.
Disney+ will soon be available on the Amazon’s Fire TV according to a statement by Bob Iger, CEO Disney. The Disney+ app will be a part of Amazon’s universal search feature, which means that you will be able to ask Alexa to play and fetch shows on voice commands.
