Drake took a trip down memory lane at this year’s October World Weekend when Drake reunited with singer Keshia Chanté, his first serious girlfriend.
During his All Canadian All Stars concert on Thursday, July 28, Drake addressed the audience at Toronto’s History venue, saying, “This next person coming to the stage, I used to get in my mom’s car I used to drive all the way to the west for this donna right here, you feel me? So, I have to personally introduce her.”
He continued: “This is my first girlfriend I’ve ever had in my life coming to the stage. A real legend, somebody I love with all my heart.”

When Keshia Chante, who is long rumoured to be the Kiki mentioned in Drake’s 2016 single “In My Feelings,” walked out, the crowd cheered as the ex-lovers embraced. Chante posted on Instagram her gratitude for Drake after performing a few of her singles live.
She inaugurated, “Legendary Nights in Toronto.” “I’ve never witnessed the city unite in such a way! It was all of that. A fantasy that could only be realized by @champagnepapi. The most touching and profound introduction I’ve ever received. Aubs I will always love you. And you have my MFN pride, @djcharlieb.
Keshia garnered media attention in 201 when Drake released his song In My Feelings and introduced the world to KeKe.
As Drake had frequently expressed his admiration for Keshia, fans at the time believed that Keke was a reference to her. Additionally, she only shared a few screenshots of messages she received from followers inquiring if she was Keke.
Keshia hinted at it in a tweet, saying, “He put it in a song so I know it’s real,” without explicitly denying it.
She now goes by the stage name KiKi, which may very well be found on her Instagram.
Drake allegedly dedicated Keshia the song Madonna from the album If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late in 2015.
Even his monitor, Fallen, which he used to rap for her.
The lyrics say: “Keshia, Keshia, do you remember the old us? You just hold it down for your boy until the plaques arrive, that’s why I love you.”
