The latest development in the Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case comes when the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), on Sunday, arrested the brother of Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal’s South African girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades.

The drug law enforcement agency of India arrested Agisilaos Demetriades, a South African national, for his alleged involvement with drug peddlers who were arrested in the Sushant Singh Rajput’s case.

As per the reports, Agisilaos Demetriades will be produced before a city court in Mumbai soon and has already been sent to the NCB custody.

The latest development in the Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case came days after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested late actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty along with her brother Showik Chakraborty, Sushant Singh’s house manager Samuel Miranda, personal staff Dipesh Sawant and several others.

However, after spending almost a month in the jail, Bombay High Court finally granted bail to Rhea Chakraborty but put forward some strict condition.

Sushant Singh’s probe has led to the opening of the pandora’s box in terms of a drugs case in Bollywood in which the NCB has pulled up several Bollywood divas which include the likes of Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Shraddha Kapoor for questioning in connection with the case and drug use.

The NCB has also arrested the former Dharma Productions Executive Producer Kshitij Ravi Prasad in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Bandra residence in Mumbai on the 14th of June. After the preliminary investigation, the Mumbai Police called it a suicide case.

However, after much outcry from Sushant’s fans and family, and Bihar government’s recommendation of a CBI enquiry in the case the Supreme Court ordered the CBI to take over the case and investigate it.

The central investigative agency is yet to conclude the probe.
