Sameer Sharma from hit TV serials like Kahaani Ghar Ghar ki and Yeh Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke has allegedly committed suicide at the age of just 44. He was found in his Malad home today.
According to the reports, Sameer was found hanging from the ceiling in his kitchen at his residence in Malad West on Wednesday night, August 5th. The police have said that an Accidental Death Report has been registered and his body has been taken for an autopsy.
It was also reported that Sammer has only recently rented the Malad apartment in Mumbai and his body was discovered by the watchman of his building.
The police said, “Looking at the body’s condition, it is suspected that he died by suicide two days back,”.
Senior Inspector of Malad Police station, George Fernandes had said, “We have not found any suicide note at the spot. It seems to be a suicide case. It is suspected that he hanged himself two days back. We have sent the body for an autopsy,”.
Currently, Sameer was seen on the TV serial named Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke where he was playing the character of Kuhu’s (Kaveri Priyam) father.
On the 22nd of July, Sameer shared a note on depression on his Instagram handle. He threw light on the condition of an individual who goes through depression and fights mental health issues.
