- As per the report of Times of India, the bus driver Sushil was the first to witness this dreadful accident and broke the glass of Pant’s Mercedes to rescue him.
The BCCI board of the Indian council stated in a media release on Friday that Rishabh Pant has a ligament rupture in his right knee, two wounds across his forehead, and injuries to his ankle, toe, and right wrist. He also has scratch injuries on his back. The Board promised to make sure Pant receives the finest medical care available.
“Rishabh’s health is stable, and he has been sent to Max Hospital in Dehradun,” said Jay Shah, secretary of the BCCI. “There, he will face MRI scans to assess the severity of his injuries and determine his subsequent course of treatment,” confirmed Jay Shah.
“While the Medical Team maintains continuous communication with the medical professionals caring for Rishabh, the BCCI is in continual contact with Rishabh’s family. The Board will make sure that Pant receives the greatest medical attention and all the assistance he needs to get through this trying time, ” Shah added.

The batsmen-wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant met with a major car accident this morning when he was on his way to his hometown Roorkee. The cricketer’s Mercedes crashed with a divider at high speed and caught fire. The mishap happened early this morning. As per the reports, Pant was alone in his car when the accident occurred.
The accident happened at around 5:30 this morning, near Roorkee, in Mohammedpur Jat. Pant said he fell asleep behind the wheel, causing the car to crash into the divider and catch fire. The bystanders smashed the glass of his car to get him out of the burning automobile. He was later transferred to the Roorkee hospital and is currently stable. The wicketkeeper-batsman was in the news recently when he played a big role in India’s two-Test series win against Bangladesh. He scored a match-winning knock of 93 in the second Test in Mirpur. He is also known for his controversies with the Indian film actress Urvashi Rautela. We wish a faster recovery to the cricketer.
