The famous couple of Hollywood Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck tied the knot in Las Vegas, this weekend, 18 years after their first romance ended in failure, according to court documents.
According to a marriage licence the pair submitted in Clark County, Nevada, which was obtained by AFP, the union took place on Saturday.
Jennifer Lopez is good friends with well-known hairstylist Chris Appletown, who posted the first glimpse of her wedding dress on Instagram. With the caption “last-minute feelings before the wedding,” Chris posted a video of JLo twirling in a stunning white bridal gown. JLo says, “I’m feeling amazing,” when Chris asks how she is feeling in the video. JLo later jokes, “I’ve been saving it, saving it, saving it, and now I’m finally wearing it…on my wedding day,” in reference to the dress.
Lopez also shared a picture of herself in bed with a silver wedding band on social media.
In 2002, the two first connected on the set of the critically panned film “Gigli.”
They caused a media sensation by dating, postponing their 2003 wedding, and then declaring their breakup in early 2004.
When pictures of the pair together again started to circulate online last year, “Bennifer”—the couple’s public nickname from their first highly publicised relationship—set the world on fire.
Ben Affleck, 49, and Jennifer Lopez, 52, confirmed their engagement in April.
This is the fourth marriage for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleckmarried the second time.
Max and Emme, who are 14 years old, were born to Jennifer Lopez’s previous marriages to singer Marc Anthony, dancer Cris Judd, and actor Ojani Noa.
