It is being said that the fire broke out at a chemical factory due to which the firefighters present at the site are facing difficulty to get the fire under control. As of now, no information about people getting injured has come out, as it is reported that all the people who were inside the building were rescued.

The area was covered with a thick cloud of dense smoke which could be seen from far away. The fire broke out in MIDC Phase 2 at the Metropolitan Exichen. Many explosions could still be heard coming from the factory.

Chief Fire Officer at Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation, Dilip Gund said that the firefighting is still going on, the fire is spreading and could cover the complete facility and continue to release the thick black smoke.
