Couple Jumps from 8th Floor to Death after murdering their Children in Ghaziabad

A married couple living in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad allegedly murdered their two children in the early hours of Tuesday morning. After killing their children the couple committed suicide by jumping from the 8th floor of their building.

There was another woman who had jumped with the couple, whose identity has not been established yet, from the society complex in Indirapuram. The woman was rushed to a hospital however her condition is still critical.

According to the initial reports, this woman is the ‘second wife’ of the man, however, his family, negated these claims, saying this woman worked for the married couple.

It was said that the couple killed their two daughters before jumping from the 8th floor however, the police said that the husband wife duo had murdered their son and daughter while they were asleep before jumping from the housing building in Indirapuram.

As the inquiries are still on the police had said the couple murdered their children and committed suicide owing to financial crisis.

Sudhir Kumar Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Ghaziabad said ‘After an investigation, it has was found that the two women were indeed the wives of the deceased man’. He added that when the Police team opened the flat ‘their two kids were found dead’ with a suicide note in the premise. ‘The possible reason behind the suicide is a financial crisis’.

The locals said that the family had just recently shifted to the society.

The security guards said between 5 and 5:15 am today morning they heard a loud noise following which they rushed towards the source of the sound only to find three bodies lying on the pavement after which they called the police and informed their supervisor.

According to a security guard present in the housing society ‘The incident took place at around 5-5:15 am’. He continued by saying that he ‘heard some noise and went out to check and saw that three people were lying on the ground’. He immediately called the police and informed his supervisor.

The suicide note was jotted on the wall of their children’s room.
