Kartik Aaryan is making headline one after the other and for all the good reasons. Earlier Aaryan bagged Mudassar Aziz’s Pati Patni aur Woh and Imtiaz Ali’s Aaj Kal, and now the 28 year old actor will be starring in the hit horror comedy movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa which was released in 2007.
Kartik share the pic on his Instagram handle and captioned ‘Ghostbuster is all set to enter… Hare Ram Hare Ram….. Hare Krishna Hare Ram…. #Bhoolbhulaiyaa2’. Wearing a Kurta Pyjama of saffron color and a trident (trishul) in one hand, Kartik is facing opposite to the camera.
When talking about working with Bhushan Kumar on the project, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik was heard saying ‘I am looking forward to collaborating with Bhushan ji again. Bhool Bhulaiyaa has always been one of my favourite comedic supernatural thriller film and now being part of BB2 makes me happy, especially because I’ve been a big fan of Akshay Kumar sir and it’s a great responsibility to take his franchise forward.’ He added, ‘it’s a hilarious script and Anees sir has taken it to another level. I’m also looking forward to working with Murad bhai’.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa, 2007, was directed by Priyadarshan, and the movie revolves around a newlywed couple Avni and Siddharth as they move back to India from US and start living at the latter’s ancestral palace along with his family. As they move in, the family is surrounded by mysterious acts in which Priyadarshan very effortlessly adds comedy. The movie was filled with stars like Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Shiney Ahuja, Asrani, Manoj Joshi, and Ameesh Patel all playing crucial roles.
12 years later, Bhushan Kumar, Chairman, and MD (Managing Director) of T-Series are all set to give the people what they were asking for from ages, the sequel will have Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani in the lead roles, and Anees Bazmee as the director. According to the buzz going around, fans might see Akshay Kumar in the film with a cameo role.
