Ayodhya land dispute case is being heard by the Supreme Court on daily basis, on the 37th day of the hearing Muslim parties have claimed that the details on the mediation process were leaked online on Twitter.

Muslim parties representative lawyer Rajiv Dhawan claimed that some issue that were discussed prior in the courtroom in the mediation process were leaked. On Friday’s hearing Dhawan said, “Evidence and opinions were leaked on Twitter”. 

Interestingly, CJI Ranjan Gogoi, who will be retiring this November has set a target for the Ayodhya hearings to be conclude latest by the 18th of October, stated that the Constitution bench will not hear the matter on Saturday.

In Friday’s hearing, Dhawan exclaimed that the judgement on the Ayodhya case will have crucial and wide implications in all of the future cases of disputed holy sites. He added, “Hypothetically this judgment will affect every case where allegations of a mosque being built on a temple site are there. It has tremendous precedent value”. On Friday, Dhawan was replying to the submissions that were made by the Hindu parties in the Supreme Court.
