On the 9th of November the apex court passed its judgement on the Ayodhya disputed land case in which it said that the disputed land will be given to Ram Lalla and Muslim board will get 5 acre land to build a Mosque (Masjid).
Now a body which has 21 indigenous Muslim organisations of Assam as its members is offering Rs. 5 lakhs as donation for the Ram Mandir construction. Assam,
Mominul Awal, Chief Convenor or Parishad, and Chairman of Assam Minorities Development Board (AMDB) said ‘The Supreme Court has removed the hurdles in the construction of Ram Mandir with the historic judgment. We welcome it. The indigenous Muslim communities of Assam have 21 organisations and their coordination forum is Janagosthiya Samannay Parishad, Assam. It will offer Rs 5 lakh to the trust which will be formed for the construction of Ram Mandir’.
Janagosthiya Samannay Parishad Assam (JSPA) represents Muslims whose ancestors were from different ethnic groups but then converted into Islam like Garia, Deshi, Maimal, Maria, Kachari, and Jalha Muslims.
Syed Muminul Awal, senior BJP spokersperson and leader of JSPA said ‘we are happy with the historic judgment and we will donate Rs 5 lakh because we want to be part of this decision that will further strengthen the spirit of unity and harmony in the country’.
Even Maulana Badruddin Ajmal, who is the leader of All India Democratic Front requested the people for the country and of Assam to not only honour the verdict of the Supreme Court but also maintain peace and harmony.
