Sony LIV- Bhoothakaalam
Produced by Anwar Rasheed under Plan T Films, the film features Shane Nigam and Revathy as the key characters. It was written and directed by Rahul Sadasivan. Bhoothakaalam explores topics of mental illnesses and their effects. Although the movie bills itself as a horror picture, it also functions as a metaphor for the protagonist’s slow spiral into lunacy, trauma, sorrow, and severe depression. The actors in the cast include Revathi as Asha, Vinu played by Shane Nigam, George played by Saiju Kurup, Madhu by James Eliya, Priya played by Athira Patel, Vinu’s grandma played by Valsala Menon, Dr Beena played by Gilu Joseph, Asha’s neighbour Manju Sunichen, and Sneha Sreekumar.
Amazon Prime Movie- Forensic
Tovino Thomas, Mamta Mohandas, Reba Monica John, and Renji Panicker play key parts in this film, which was directed by Akhil Paul and Anas Khan. The plot centers on a detective and a medico-legal counsel working together to find a serial murderer who preys on young girls. The movie received positive feedbacks because of its compelling story, exciting plot twists, and excellent acting.
Amazon Prime Movie- Chathur Mukham
Sunny Wayne, Alencier Ley Lopez, Manju Warrier, Niranjana Anoop, Babu Annur, Shyamaprasad, and Rony David play major parts in the film. Ranjeet Kamala Sankar directs the film, and Salil V. Dawn Vincent is the composer of the film’s original songs and background soundtrack. Manoj edits these tracks, and Abinandhan Ramanujam is the cinematographer. Jiss Toms and Justin Thomas collaborated on “Chathur Mukham,” distributed by Jiss Toms Movies and Manju Warrier Productions. The narrative centres on Thejaswini, a young lady who buys a cheap phone after losing her previous smartphone in an accident. She quickly discovers that a sinister supernatural force is terrifying her over the phone, putting her safety and the safety of others in jeopardy and forcing her to call for help.
Sony LIV- Churuli
Lijo Jose Pellissery directed this science fiction horror movie, which was written by S. Hareesh. The main characters are played by Vinay Forrt, Jaffar Idukki, Soubin Shahir, Joju George, and Chemban Vinod Jose. Based on the short story Kaligeminarile Kuttavalikal from Vinoy Thomas’ book Mullaranjanam, the film was produced by Lijo Jose Pellissery and Chemban Vinod Jose under the auspices of Movie Monastery and Chembosky Motion Pictures. Co-producers Jesto Varghese, O Thomas Panicker, and Naushad Salahuddin contributed to the film’s production.
