Although Zendaya is accustomed of stealing the show almost every time she steps out, the actress’s most recent appearance, an all-sheer outfit for Valentino’s Spring/Summer 2023 show on Sunday, was on par with the designer ensembles that were paraded down the runway in front of her.
Zendaya went beyond expectations in honor of Paris Fashion Week, appearing at the fashion house’s presentation looking front-row ready in a breathtaking sheer black Valentino catsuit adorned with a jewel rendition of the logo’s V. The actress wore the largely transparent top over a pair of short black shorts and beneath a black monogrammed suit jacket, accessorising just with a dramatic pair of black drop earrings and a pair of matching tan-and-black heels.
For the event, Zendaya maintained an equally stunning makeup and hairstyle, choosing to wear her hair in a sleek bob with a side part and accessorising with a bronze smoky eye and a brown-toned lip. Zendaya was flanked by her longtime stylist Law Roach and supermodel Naomi Campbell, whose subdued ensembles along with her own all but proved that black is very much the new black.
Just a few weeks prior, the actress made history with her ground-breaking performance as Rue Bennett in the second season of HBO Max’s Euphoria. Zendaya is the youngest woman in history to get the Emmy for Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2020. She also became the first Black woman to win the drama category twice. She became the youngest woman in history to win two Emmys in the same category with her victory this year.

Zendaya made sure to dedicate her speech upon receiving her award to those who are struggling with addiction. “My greatest wish for Euphoria was that it could help heal people,” she said. “I just want to say thank you to everyone who has shared their story with me. I want you to know that anyone who has loved a Rue or feels like they are a Rue, I want you to know I’m so grateful for your stories and I carry them with me, and I carry them with her.”
