Son of veteran film director David Dhawan, Varun, is known to have zero-tolerance when it comes to speculative reports and tweets over his career, personal life and family members. In the recent addition to this, he issued a warning, alerting the fans, of a fake Instagram account claiming to be his brother, Rohit Dhawan.
In his Instagram story, Varun clarified that Rohit Dhawan is not on the photosharing platform: “Hey guys, my brother Rohit Dhawan is not on social media. This is a fake account.”
While Varun is a successful actor, Rohit went on to enter the industry walking on his father’s footsteps and staying behind the camera as a filmmaker and has directed films such as 2011 movie Desi Boyz and Kapow, which was released in 2016.
Rohit Dhawan had also worked as an assistant director in famous and blockbuster movies such as Partner and Don.

Recently, Varun Dhawan got married to his long-time girlfriend Natasha Dalal which took place in a strictly guarded environment in Alibaug. Varun’s brother Rohit Dhawan and his wife Jaanvi were spotted arriving at the Mansion House in Alibaug a few days before the wedding.
Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal will reportedly host a reception in Mumbai sometime later in February for their friends and VIPs from the industries and Politics.
Not so long ago, dismissing another speculative remark, Varun dismissed an article about a speculative rift between him and his filmmaker father as he said, “Maybe until I don’t give you an interview you shouldn’t write on my behalf sir,” in his tweet.

In the past, Varun Dhawan had called out unwarranted reports about him stepping out of the house during the lockdown, even came forward and clarified speculation about a family function with Natasha Dalal and did not shy to school a Twitter user who was accusing him of flouting social distancing rules.
