One day after Saif Ali Khan’s look was revealed in his forthcoming web series Tandav, the maker of the Politica-Thriller have today unveiled the teaser.
The web series which is directed and created by Ali Abbas Zafar features a star studded cast including Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Kumud Mishra.
After watching the 1 minute teaser of Tandav, it is safe to say that the web series will be a nail-biter political thriller, however, not much of the plot has been revealed in the teaser.
However, the teaser shows glimpses of Amyra Dastur, Anup Soni, Dino Morea, Gauahar Khan, Kritika Kamra, Sarah Jane Dias, Sandhya Mridul, and Sunil Grover.
The teaser of Tandav begins by introducing character played by Saif Ali Khan, with a voiceover saying, “Hindustan ko sirf ek hi cheez chalati hai – Raajneeti. Iss desh mein jo Pradhan Mantri hai, wahi raja hai,” which loosely translates to “The only thing driving India is politics. In this country, the one who sit on the chair of the Prime Minister, is King”.
The web series will premier on Amazon Prime Video on 15th January 2021.

Though this is not the first digital web series for Saif Ali Khan, having made his debut on the OTT platforms with Netflix’s Sacred Games back in 2018, with Tandav, Dimple Kapadia will make her debut in the digital world.

She was last seen Tenet, an Action and Si-Fi movie directed by celebrated director Christopher Nolan.
Yesterday, director Ali Abbar Zafar shared the first teaser picture of the show with Said Ali Khan’s back saying the series’ teaser will be out today.
Tandav which will be a 9-part series will also be the debut stage for director Ali Abbas Zafar on digital stage who is famous for directing Salman Khan starrer Tiger Zinda Hai, Bharat and Sulta and Shahrukh Khan’s Dear Zindagi.
Talking about Tandav, Zafar said, “As you watch the show, you’ll realise that there is no right or wrong, there is no black or white; world of power is about the world of greys. I believe that content must be backed by credible performances and I am fortunate to have such heavy weights in the show.”
He added, “I’m excited that my debut as a creator-director in the digital domain is with Amazon Prime Video which will take this intriguing and gripping story of Tandav to millions across the world”.
