After Kabir Singh, actor Shahid Kapoor is all set for his next venture called “Jersey”. Fans have been eagerly waiting for Shahid to play the role of a cricketer on the big screen. Interestingly, Shahid will be reuniting with his father, veteran actor Pankaj Kapur, in Jersey which will be 5 years after the release of Shaandaar.
It is reported that Pankaj will be playing the role of Shahid’s mentor in the movie.
Despite having worked with Pankaj before, the 39-year-old actor still feels nervous about sharing screen space with him. Shahid recently spoke about this in a chat session with fans on Twitter.
A fan asked the Kabir Singh actor about his experience of working with his dad Pankaj Kapur in Gowtham Tinnanuri’s directorial venture, Jersey. To which Shahid replied, “I still get nervous sharing the frame with him.”

A fan told the 39 year old star that he has high expectations from the new venture “Jersey” after his last movie “Kabir Singh” was a blockbuster and asked if he can share some details about the new movie.

In Shaandaar, Shahid played the lead role of Jagjinder Joginder, an event manager and Pankaj was cast as Bipin Arora, father of two daughters Isha (Sanah Kapur) and Alia (Alia Bhatt). Alia was Shahid’s love interest in the film.
