Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, son of late actor Sunil Dutt has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer as per the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. The actor was rushed into the hospital on Saturday after he complained of breathlessness and was later discharged on Monday.
When he was admitted, Sanjay Dutt’s oxygen level was fluctuating between 90-92%, he was then immediately tested for the Covid-19 through rapid antigen kit.
Sources say that in his tests, there was no presence of the pathogen of the virus. Later, it was reported that he has developed fluid in his chest.
Sanjay Dutt’s diagnosis revealed that he is suffering from stage four lung cancer.
A person from the hospital was quoted saying, “When he was taken to the hospital, he was low on oxygen saturation. But when his Covid-19 report came negative, he run cancer analysis and it came positive,”.

When his treating doctor, Dr Jalil Parker, was contacted by the reporters, he refused to make any comment on it citing patient confidentiality.
On Tuesday, Sanjay Dutt announced that he will take a “short break” from work for “some medical treatment”. “Hi friends, I am taking a short break from work for some medical treatment.”
The Khalnaayak actor further said “My family and friends are with me and I urge my well-wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon!”

On the 8th of August, Sanjay Dutt issued a statement on Twitter reassuring his fans and followers that he is “doing well” his reports for Covid-19 were negative.
He wrote, “Just wanted to assure everyone that I’m doing well. I’m currently under medical observation & my COVID-19 report is negative. With the help & care of the doctors, nurses & staff at Lilavati hospital, I should be home in a day or two. Thank you for your well wishes & blessings.” on Twitter.
