  • Users will be able to stream content on a tablet, PC apart from the mobile in Mobile+ plan

The global Video streaming service provider Netflix is not testing a brand new subscription plan for India called Mobile+ plan. Currently, the plan is being tested and has been priced at Rs 349.

This all new affordable plan will come with an option of streaming the content in High Definition (HD) and has been priced lower than the firm’s currently most affordable plan priced at Rs 499 which only offers Stands Definition streaming.

In the Mobile+ plan, which is currently being tested, will let users stream content in HD quality but on a single device at a time. Unline the Mobile only plan, users will be able to stream content on a Table and PC apart from Mobile in the Mobile+ plan.

The Mobile-only plan costs Rs 199 only per month and allows streaming content in SD over a tablet or a smartphone at a time.

On the other hand, the Rs. 499 SD plan, allows users to stream content either on their phone, tablet, PC or a smart TV but as the name suggest can only be streamed in Standsrd Definition. Also with this Rs. 499 a user can only stream content on one screen at a time.

The new Mobile+ plan priced at Rs 349 sits right in the middle of the two other plans mentioned above. Although you do not get the support for streaming content on a smart TV, the plan costs Rs. 150 less and offers High Definition content streaming. As of now the plan is being tested and Netflix India will make it available permanently to the public based on the response.
