Isha Ambani, daughter of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, paid homage to her Indian roots with a stunning black saree-turned-gown at the Met Gala 2023. Dazzling in Prabal Gurung’s black silk saree dress adorned with thousands of crystals and pearls, Isha turned heads on the carpet.
Isha, who first attended the annual fundraiser in 2017 wearing a Christian Dior gown, opted for a simpler look this year with minimal makeup and straight, sleek hair.

Alia Bhatt, the Bollywood actress, made an impressive debut at the Met Gala 2023 wearing an exquisite ivory ball gown adorned with 100,000 pearls, which were hand-beaded in India. The new mother, who recently had a baby girl with her husband Ranbir Kapoor, donned a stunning atelier Prabal Gurung ivory silk tulle and satin face organza ball gown with an exaggerated basque waist that featured hand-beaded pearls.
