Bollywood Actress Kriti Sanon has been tested positive for deadly Coronavirus. Sanon, 30, took to Instagram to inform her fans that she had contracted the coronavirus and is currently quarantined. She added that she felt good and was following the instructions of the BMC and her doctor. She recently returned from Chandigarh, where she was shooting with Rajkumar Rao for an upcoming film.
To confirm the news the actress took a note to post on Instagram, giving more information.
The 30 year old actress wrote, “I’d like to inform everyone that I have tested positive for Covid-19. There’s absolutely nothing to worry as I’m feeling fine and have quarantined myself as per BMC and my doctor’s advice.”
The Housefull 4 actress also added, “So I’m gonna ride this tide, rest it out and resume work soon. Till then, I’m reading all the warm wishes and they seem to be working. Be safe guys, the pandemic hasn’t gone yet!” in the same post.
Wishing Kriti Sanon a fast recovery, several of her industry colleagues and friends wrote in, including Ekta Kapoor, who wrote, “Get well soon”. Her hit film’s – Heropanti – co-star Tiger Shroff also wrote: “Get well soon.” Many of fans wished her a speedy recovery.
Kriti joins a long list of celebrities from Bollywood who have tested positive for the virus. The list includes the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, his son Abhishek Bachchan, and also his granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan. Actressed Genelia Deshmukh, Neetu Kapoor, and Actor Maneish Paul, and fitness enthusiast Malaika Arora had also tested positive for the novel Coronavirus.
Even the director of the famous movie franchise Baahubali, SS Rajamouli along with his family and actress Tamannaah Bhatia had tested positive for COVID-19.

Actor Arjun Kapoor, actor and politician Sunny Deol, Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, TV actor Sara Khan had also tested positive for the deadly virus.
Varun Dhawan, who was among the latest Covid-19 positive testing actors had also shared a post to confirm the news where he wrote, “So as I returned to work in the pandemic era I have contracted #covid_19 All precautions were taken by the production but still nothing is certain in life especially not covid-19.”
He added, “So please be extra careful I believe I could have been more careful. I see the get well soon messages and my spirits are high taking each day at a time thank u,” in the caption of the post.
Coming back to Kriti Sanon, the last time she was seen was in Panipat, where she and Arjun Kapoor co-starred. With the 2014 film Heropanti, Kriti made her Bollywood debut and has starred in a variety of films since 2014, including Dilwale, Raabta, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Luka Chuppi, Arjun Patiala and Housefull 4. Next the actress will be seen in Laxman Utekar’s Mimi, which is a remake of the 2011 Marathi film Mala Aai Vhhaychy!, which won the National Award and Kriti will play the role of a surrogate mother.
