A while back, a poster of Akshay Kumar’s action-comedy flick, Bachchan Pandey was released. Now, as per reports, the film might be going on floors by next year February.
If there is one star in Bollywood who is known for doing multiple films in a year, it is Akshay Kumar. The superstar who believes in shooting a film in one schedule that is start-to-finish already has a line up of films for the next year. While this year, 2 of Akshay’s releases are pending, that includes Good News and Housefull 4, the Khiladi has already lined up 4 films for next year. One of them happens to be an action-comedy film, Bachchan Panday.
The first look of Bachchan Pandey was revealed a while back and it left everyone stunned. Now, as per a report, the film might be going on floors in February 2020 and Akshay plans to shoot the film in one schedule that is start-to-finish. As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, Bachchan Pandey might be going on floors in February next year. Kumar plans on starting work on Bachchan Pandey after wrapping up pending work on Sooryavanshi and a period drama.
As a source quoted to the daily, “Before starting work on Bachchan Pandey, Akshay will wrap up a period film and minor chunks of his cop drama, Sooryavanshi. Like most of his films, this one too will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule.” The same source also revealed to the daily that a lot of work has gone into designing the rowdy Southie look for Akshay and the script has been locked in now. The team of Bachchan Pandey is going ahead to the second stage of pre-production and will go looking for real locations in November. Bachchan Pandey will be shot in locations of South and North India.
Well, if that is the case, we can expect to see Akshay in a lot more films in 2020. On his birthday this year, Akshay announced a period drama with Yash Raj Films, Prithviraj in which he will be seen playing Prithviraj Chauhan. Now, with Bachchan Panday also scheduled for Christmas release in 2020, Akshay has 4 films already for next year including Laxmmi Bomb and Sooryavanshi. Bachchan Pandey’s first look featured Akshay in a rowdy look as a Southie. The film will be directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
