Highlights:

  • After being denied food at a wedding, a hungry photographer erased all the wedding photographs.
  • The groom informed him he had to be the photographer or could leave without pay.
  • The photographer went on to say that no table had been reserved for him and that there was no way for him to even get a glass of water.

A photographer who removed all of the photographs from his camera in front of the groom when he was denied food at the wedding has asked for opinion of the people.

“I’m not a photographer; rather, I’m a dog groomer. I spend all day taking photographs of dogs to post on Facebook and Instagram; it’s “my thing,” if that makes sense,” he shared it on Reddit.

A friend who wanted to save money persuaded him to take his wedding photos. “I told him it’s not really my forte,” he explained, “but he convinced me by stating he didn’t care whether they were perfect.”

The photographer agreed to work for $250 on the shoot. He began working at 11 a.m. and was scheduled to end at 7:30 p.m. “Around 5 p.m., food is brought, and I’m informed I can’t stop to eat because I need to be a photographer; in reality, they didn’t spare me a space at any table,” he wrote.

He went on to say, “I’m getting tired and, at this point, I’m beginning to regret doing this for close to nothing. It’s also unbearably hot: the location is in an old veteran’s legion, and the temperature is around 110 degrees Fahrenheit, with no air conditioning.” In addition, there was no way to get water.

He then informed the groom that he wanted a 20-minute break to eat and drink. The groom, on the other hand, informed him, “I need to either be a photographer or leave without getting paid.”

The photographer said, “With the heat, hunger, and overall annoyance with the situation, I asked if he was sure, and he replied yes, so I erased all the photographs that shot in front of him and left, claiming I’m no longer his photographer. If I had been given $250, I honestly would have paid $250 for a drink of cool water and a place to sit for 5 minutes.”

The post also stated that the newlyweds left on their honeymoon and have been away from social media, while people have been asking them for the wedding photographs.

The post has gone viral on social media, with netizens expressing their support for the photographer.

According to one user, “They wanted mate prices but didn’t even offer you food? The dogs are much better people than these ‘friends.’ ”

“If you’re going to refuse someone food and drink and even a rest break, you’re obviously not a mate and aren’t entitled to such prices,” commented another.

A third user commented, “OP shouldn’t have deleted the pictures. As satisfying as it is, they should have just left and then when her friend asked about them later should have said she’d sell them the pictures for double or triple the price.” Another wrote, “I can’t wait for the update when everyone finds out there are no pictures.”
