Rashami Desai has garnered immense recognition on account of her flawless acting skills in various shows. She debuted with the mythological drama series, Ravan in 2006 and later played a double role in Pari Hoon Main (2008). Rashami became a household name with her most striking performance as “Tapasya Thakur” in the soap opera “Uttaran” (2009-2014).

Rashami has a colossal fan base with 5.1 million (51 lakh) followers on Instagram. She also ventured into the comedy world and participate in reality shows like “Comedy Circus Mahasangram” (2010), “Comedy Ka Maha Muqabla” (2011), “Kahaani Comedy Circus Ki (2012)”, and “Comedy Nights Live” (2016).”
Rashami is the recipient of several accolades comprising two “Indian Television Academy Awards” and has made her mark as the most popular television actress. She has tied the knot with the co-star from Uttaran, Nandish Sandhu in 2012. The couple separated in 2015. In 2018, Arhaan and Rashami both participated in Big Boss 13 and Arhaan proposed Rashami in the show. Rashami accepted the proposal. Later, during the show, Salman revealed that Arhaan had kept certain secrets from Rashami including the fact that he was married and had a child. Rashami broke up with Arhaan in 2020.
