Ariana Grande wows her fans with tight jeans and a bubblegum pink top while exiting the Broadway show in New York City on Saturday night. The 28-year-old attended the theatre to prep for her movie role in the upcoming film adaptation of the Wicked musical. Ariana will be portrayed as Glinda the Good Witch in the movie.
The American singer, songwriter, and actress donned up a satin strapless top and complemented it with a matching bubblegum pink coat that slid down her arms casually. Her head-turning display was amplified with a Wicked baseball cap propped over her high ponytail and a pink surgical style mask to go with it. She pomped her look with a beaded Chanel necklace that cascaded down her chest. Ariana kickstarted her career when she was 15 in the 2008 Broadway musical 13. Her claim to fame was Nickelodeon’s television series Victorious (2010-13) where she played Cat Valentine.
Ariana’s Broadway look surely sets the bar for fashion goals. The way she swaggered wearing fluffy sandals while keeping it casual with her pale blue jeans speaks volumes about her remarkable style quotient. Adding a tint of sparkle to her look, she wore a strand of pearls looped around her throat and left it dangling over her pink top.
It is probable that Ariana might have been looking to garner some inspiration from the performance as she prepares to star as Glinda in the much-awaited film adaptation of Wicked. Singer and actress Cynthia Erivo will be starring in the movie as Elphaba, Wicked Witch of The West in the original Oz books by L. Frank Baum and in the classic 1939 movie The Wizard of Oz.
Wicked is based on the 1995 novel by Gregory Maguire and it narrates the story of the witches who animated L. Frank Baum’s books and the exemplary film prior to Dorothy’s arrival in Oz. Ariana’s vibrant pink ensemble would have been an ideal fit for her musical character Glinda the Good Witch.
