Just moments after actress Kangna Ranaut reached her Mumbai home, she issued a video aimed at the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray.
In a retaliatory tone, Kangna Ranaut said, “Uddhav Thackeray tujhe kya lagta hai (what do you think) that by demolishing my house in collusion with the film mafia, you have taken revenge from me?”
The actress who reached Mumbai on Wednesday amidst the high drama, was commenting on the demolition of her Pali Hill office by the BMC (Bombay Municipal Corporation) officials earlier the same day.
Issuing a warning to the CM of Maharashtra, Kangna could be heard saying, “Aaj mera ghar tuta hai, kal tera ghamand tutega (today my house was demolished, tomorrow your ego will be shattered).”
Kangna went on to compare the demolition of her office, which the BMC officials had razed quoting illegal alteration, with the plight of the Kashmiri Pandits. In the video, Kangna said, “In a way, you have done me a favour. I always knew what Kashmiri Pandits suffered through, but today I felt it firsthand…Uddhav Thackeray, there is a meaning of this torture and terror unleashed on me,”.

She pledged that apart from making a movie on Ayodhya she will also make a movie on the Kashmiri Pandits saying she has finally understood what they went through.
After days of confrontation with the Uddhav Thackeray led Maharashtra government, Kangana Ranaut reached Mumbai today afternoon from Himachal Pradesh surrounded with the security personnel of Y-plus security which was granted by the Centre.
Kangana flew from Chandigarh by a scheduled commercial flight which landed at Mumbai around 2:30 PM amidst the protests by Shiv Sena workers at the airport over her remarks on Mumbai police.
Workers of the Republican Party of India (Athawale) also known as the RPI (A) along with the Karni Sena had also gathered in support of the actress. However, the actress evaded the crowd and exited the airport discreetly.
In the meantime, the Bombay High Court, on Wednesday, stayed the demolition process initiated by the BMC for illegal construction at actress Kangana Ranaut’s office in Pali Hill.

Kangana Ranaut started the controversy with her recent comments on the Mumbai Police and Maharashtra. Responding to a remark made by Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut where he asked her not to come back to the city after she claimed she felt unsafe in the city and had compared Mumbai with PoK (Pakistan occupied Kashmir).
Even on Wednesday, the actress tweeted multiple videos of the demolition of her office and said Mumbai was like Pakistan and the BMC and the Maharashtra government was like Mughal emperor Babur and his army. Amruta Fadnavis, wife of former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis shared a video where Devendra Fadnavis was seen asking the Maharashtra government to reflect on their actions which has some out of fear.

To add fuel in the fire, spokersperson of BJP Delhi, Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga tweeted attacking Uddhav Thackeray. He wrote, “Ordered Bangles for Uddhav Thackrey @officeofut after his Illegal order to demolish @KanganaTeam Office. Udhaav Wear this pls”.

It was also reported that an order passed by the Bombay High Court said that no illegal building shall be demolished until the 30th of September, yet, the BMC officials took the case in their hands and demolished Kangna’s Pali Hill property in less than 24 hours.
