At this year's October World Weekend, Drake reconnected with singer Keshia Chanté, his first serious girlfriend, for a journey down memory lane.
During his All Canadian All Stars performance on Thursday, July 28, Drake addressed the audience at Toronto's History venue, saying, "This next person coming to the stage, I used to hop in my mom's vehicle and I used to travel all the way to the west for this donna right here, you feel me? "
Drake mentioned that this was the first relationship that he ever had in his life," he and that he has utmost love for this great legend.
The crowd went wild as the ex-lovers embraced when Chanté, who is long suspected to be the Kiki described in Drake's 2016 hit "In My Feelings," walked out.
After giving a handful of her singles a live performance, Chanté shared her appreciation for Drake on Instagram.
The enormous Canadian weekend, which had been announced back in June, went down without a hitch.
For the All Canadian North Stars performance, Drake invited a wide range of Canadian legends, including Nelly Furtado, K-os, Kardinal Offishall, Choclair, Saukrates, Glenn Lewis, Jully Black, and Maestro Fresh Wes.
A much-anticipated Young Money reunion, however, was cancelled on Monday (August 1) when Drake's COVID test resulted in a positive result.
