Britney Spears’ open letter to son Jayden James Federline following his recent interview comment on her mental health.
In an interview, Jayden claimed that he has “no hate” for his mum and said, "I 100% think this can be fixed.”
He further added, “It's just going to take a lot of time and effort. I just want her to get better mentally. When she gets better, I really want to see her again.”
Additionally, he explained why he and his brother Sean Preston did not attend their mother's marriage to Sam Asghari in June.
“I'm really happy for them, but she didn't invite the whole family and then if it was just going to be me and Preston, I just don't see how that situation would have ended on good terms,” he said.
The contentious guardianship that put Britney Spears mostly under her father's authority for years inspired her to write about her tribulations during that time.
“To be basically held hostage in homes under nurses and b******* I hope my kids one day understand the reasoning of my play,” she said.
Britney also took a dig at her ex-husband Kevin Federline. Here is what she wrote.
"I helped your father, who hasn't had a job in 15 years... I am sure the standards of your dad smoking weed every day benefit your daily life at 15 to partake in a very cool generation. I completely understand your need to live with your father as I had to play the perfect role for 15 years for absolutely nothing.
